Lynn,

If you are talking about DC under Manufacturing,  any wedge scanner will work.

By wedge scanner, I mean a scanner that hooks into the keyboard connector.  this acts exactly likea keyboard, however, you don't have to type.  what ever field you are on, when you scan a barcode, that value is entered just like you typed it in.

We bought wedge type readers like timgolds suggested.  Have to watch connections - specify USB or pin.  We didn't and had to exchange.  Bought fairly rugged units as our people can sometimes be hard on items (we're a forge shop)

Had to reset the unit to a slower read as the work order numbers were reading inaccurately.  AML helped me understand how to reset - very easy.

I am satisfied with our product I bought:  M2000-PSC QS6000 Laser  P/N M2000LAS-PS0020
