Entering New Items from a PO
03/29/07 at 07:27:20

While entering a PO in EVO if we enter a part number that does not exist the program will ask you if you want to create a new part.  We click Yes and it takes us to IN-B to set up a new part number.  If the user is setup to use BKINB we get an "Access Violation at address 00000000 Read of 00000000" error when we do a lookup on the VEND field and the computer locks up and you need to CTRL-ALT-DEL to get out.  If the user is setup to use T7INB then we can get all the way to the end of the setup screen but when we click save we get the same error.

This happens on every computer, just at different parts of the item setup depending on whether EVO calls the old BKINB or new T7INB.

Classic works fine.

Version 2007.1 build 2/14/07  all patches applied.

I just tried it here and it works fine.. I have made some changes to the Lookup code in the last few days and can't tell if that has something to do with it.

In Evo the PO-A menu should be calling T6POA.RUN and that in turn calls T6INB.RUN  BKPOA calls BKINB and T7POA is NOT to be used!!! it was an Alpha version I sent to Lynn but it is not ready to be used yet. Even if your menu is set to run  T7INB.RWN for IN-B, if you are running T6POA.run for PO-A it internally calls T6INB.run.

Once you get to the IN-B screen from PO-A can you do a lookup on Class? or Terms?
