MRP 'Key setup error' generating material requirem

getting a warning error 'Key setup error' when I try to generate material requirements through MR-F. running latest version with newest patches.
it seems to pass stages 1-4 and locked up while 're-numbering planned orders'
i have to click 'OK' and then it exits out.
so my MRP is broken  Sad
any ideas?

once I had a recursive bom that caused mine to stop working
 
you might check out the boms edited since the last sucesful run
