Sales order links
06/07/07 at 13:23:47

Does anyone know if there is a way to attach customer purchase order (a scanned image of) to a Sales Order so it can be found and viewed through EVO? Kinda like links to items?

Yes, the Evo Links can do exactly that. You need to be on version 5/1/07 and go turn on Evo Links in SD-Q

Also see the video demo I did to show you how to use it.  www.istechsupport.com/flash/evolinks.html

This shows how to do links for Inventory, but you can link with SO's or anything in the system.

When I tried to do a link I got the following message:

Quote:
Program Not Found - The program:R:\DBAMFG\EVOLINKS.RWN does not exist on disk and can't be run.

We have downloaded every patch & update available.  Could someone send me that file?

Thanks.

Lynn

Can you send it to me also? I'm not seeing any button on the sales order screen to add links.

Thanks, Lynn.  Will be looking for it.  Does the 'add links' function only work for the GUI screens?

posted to http://www.istechsupport.com/dl/evolinks.zip.  The 5/1 update is required.

It works only with the GUI programs but that includes the lookup grids so even though SO-A is not yet GUI, you could go to AR-A and click Open SO to get to a grid of SO and then link from there.

Allen is working on PO-A now; SO-A will be next.  However, it is not a simple task!  They are probably the two most complicated programs in the system.  We will definitely be looking for Beta volunteers as we get closer to release.
