Sales orders displaying incorrect tax
06/17/07 at 16:12:43

Hi

we are using the lastet version of EVO 5/1/07 and have installed all patches to date.  Unfortunately some of our sales orders when viewed on screen display the incorrect tax.  However when printing a SO acknowledgement the tax is correct (thank goodness).  On further investigation I have found that it is sales orders that have had changes to them that the tax does not change from the original amount.

For example:

Our GST tax rate is 12.5%.   If a sales order was entered at 1 item at $10 the tax is $1.25.  If that sales prder subsequently gets changed to 2 items at $10 the tax should change to $2.50 but it doesn't it stays at $1.25.  As mentioned above though, the acknowledgement does print the correct tax of $2.50.

A minor irritation at the moment but has anyone else had this problem, and will it be fixed?

thanks
Karen

The Sales Order updates the Taxes only when you save the Order. How or where you are seeing the incorrect tax values? is it an opening list? or at the bottom of part of the Screen on line item entry while entering a sales order?

Seeing the incorrect tax In SO-A after the sales order has been saved.  In the opening list the sales order total displays incorrectly and in the sales order header and line item screens both the tax and totals display incorrectly.

The tax % is also wrong in AR-A - 12.025% is in the settings screen for all customers & you can not delete it.  I've looked for a default tax % but can't find that either.  Is it me or is it EVO?

The 12% in AR-A is simply a display error that has been fixed in the 7/14 update.

Thanks, Lynn.

I have downloaded all of the patches through 51patch4.zip - but I still get that erroneous %.  Do I need to download the 7/14 update?  If so, please advise how/where I can get it.

This problem has just begun to reoccur since we upgrade to 9/27/07.    Any plans for it to be fixed?

thanks
