UOH is 23.25? (Read 483 times)

nancyc Browser Posts: 21	UOH is 23.25? 06/28/07 at 10:08:44 I have a part in inventory that has UOH of 23.25? How can that happen? Looking at the inventory transaction history, the UOH are 25. There has not been any transactions for .25 What is the solution to this problem?

another case of DBA cant count

Very frustrating

we used accpac for about 20 years I cant recall even 1 number being wrong ever.

sucked for manufacturing but was rock solid on the math

I personally think there is something fundamentally wrong with DBA.

and im not sure it will ever be fixed because its not a program code issue its a structural issue.

something about the way TAS works with pervasive perhaps. I have no idea what is wrong I just see the weird results that seem to be random and unsolvable.

Just because there is no record in the transactions history doesn't mean it didn't happen. EVO has to open, modify, and then close several data files when doing things like issuing materials for WO's. If the system "burped" halfway through, maybe a transaction did not get recorded. If you reconcile inventory (report mode only) using SM-C for the item in question, does anything come up?
