Problems since my 7/14 update
07/24/07 at 07:30:30

Since last week when I tried to install the update, got the -115 error message I didn't understand, went ahead and said  OK/Continue, but of course it didn't succeed (later I got all the active users off, re-did the update and it worked), we've been getting a whole variety of Errors, dba and EVO both, which usually go away with a restart or a reboot, but then same thing or some new error comes up.  All the workstations seem to be effected. And they're getting more frequent.

Things like (not a full list):
EVO: Codebase Error Error -70, Error 91102...F:|dbamfg\fileloc.dbf...
EVO: Warning Error ...error message could not be found in ERRMSGB file 48
EVO: Fatal error  You tried to assess a file that has not been previously openned #value (FNUM)  Passed was 0
EVO: Warn Err. file T6SOA2.SRC line 533 [...536...537 as you hit Enter again]
EVO: Hit AP-H, get cannot Lock, someone using AP-E, F,  or G
dba:   Hit BM-G, get Error message not found in the ERRMSGB file 405
then went to close dba, got "unable to write to TP5WIN.INI
and then ACCESS VIOLATION @ TP5DBA
dba:   AP-H, Froze, went to close  and booted out of dba.

I don't know what to do or where to begin.  Can anyone help?

Thanks a lot,
Dick

Sounds like something going amuck in your network - maybe the switch or router going bad or the server network card.

Thanks for been so quick Lynn.  We got hit by lightning last week, was some network damage, but it looked like the server had been well protected.
I'll get those folks in here again.
