Version 11 not working on some v8 reports (Read 1103 times)

Version 11 not working on some v8 reports

So I upgraded to version 11 and now some of my reports won't work.
 
The first thing is that when I refresh a report I get a "The database table "WOMAT_BVH" cannot be found. Proceed to remove this table from the report?". I say "No", and it refreshes, apparently with no errors.
 
However, the report I'm looking at has two problems. This one has two subreports.
 
The main report is fine.
Subreport 1 has some of the data missing
Subreport 2 has no data whatsoever.
 
Closed and re-opened in 8.0. Works fine.

once you open the report in 11, albiet successfully, once you save it, it will convert to the 11 format, and you will no longer be able to open in earlier version of crystal.
 
it's asking you about that, because the newer version maintains the connection information differently, with newer drivers and all. you are doing the correct thing, in that you say NO to remove from report.
 
next step is to, Set the Data location, from said menu, for all your tables, as well as for your Subreports.
 
then save the report, ver 11. and it should not bother you again.
 
make a copy for your ver 8 if you want to retain.
