Problem posting overpayments to customers

My cash receipts go out of balance every time I try to apply an overpayment to a customer.  The G/L is out of balance by the overpayment and no credit balance shows up on the customer's account.  Seems like this just happened after the last update.

What do you mean by "last update"?  Are you on the 7/14/07?  That was an issue but it is (as far as I know) fixed.
