DC-A errors for some employees
10/12/07 at 08:06:42

I have several users that keep getting error messages while using DC-A

Typically they login to a job and then when the program asks “Continue Entering for this employee” they select N for no and the program locks and displays 3 error messages in the same order.

First message is:

P File Error # 9………..then you select OK
You then see
T file Error # 0……….then you select OK
You then get
“Please go back in and use F9 to flush the data to this employee 1164………..1164 is referring to the employee number.

If I go back into DCA and try to use the F9 process it makes no difference.  You still get the three messages.

I have also selected Y for yes and the same thing happens

Any ideas what is causing this or how to troubleshoot?

We are running into this issue multiple times a day.  We are running the DC seats on a terminal server 2003 x64 edition.  We terminate the DC-C (we have the same problem with DC-A as well)program and restart.  We cannot figure out what is causing the DC programs to crash.  It seems to be sporadic.
