Email Set Up
10/25/07 at 13:22:01

We are recent subscribers to EVO.  I had originally set up the first workstation (mine) incorrectly, because my workstation was talking to the same drive that stores DBAMFG (u:\apps), not to a folder on my C: drive.

I have since gotten this straightened out, and am working from my local C:ISTS folder.  However during this process of discovery, I was playing with the email set up for another user, and found that we were both sharing the same folder in the U drive.

After getting everybody squared away working from their local C:ISTS folder, now when I try to send an email from my workstation, the FROM is still reading from the other users name, not mine.  At one time it was even sending the email to a third users email address, which was never even entered in my TO line.

I deleted the email info from the TASPRO7.ini file, and the NZEMAIL.CFG file from my local C:ISTS folder, and reset my settings in TAS-C & TAS-K, but still have the same problem that the FROM is someone else's name, not mine.  At least this time, I think it sent the email to the proper addresses.

Please advise on a fix, thanks, Robin

Ok - to move ahead on my situation - in looking at the time stamps, I am thinking that even though I have a local C:\ISTS drive, I think I am still pointed to that ISTS folder on my U:drive.

The time stamps on both the NZEMail.CFG and TASPRO7.ini files in my local folder have dates from Oct 25th, but the TASPRO7.ini file on the U Drive has a time stamp of today 10/30.  There should be no one else pointed there, so I feel like it's my workstation that is pulling from the TASPRO7.ini file from the U drive.  Is there a way I can verify or fix this?

Thanks,
Robin

Look at the banner on the top of the TAS-C screen.  If it is pointing at U: then click Set Run Path and change to C:\ISTS to reset it to the local path.

Lynn,

It is not pointing at U: - What I believe you are referring to as the banner (blue /white text window title bar) for TAS-C says Set RT Configuration [c:\ISTS\]

When I click on Set Run Path, it is already set at C:\ISTS.

Thanks,
Robin
