Not for a long time. But they really should invest in a new grammar checker - shouldn't it be "Too much pop"?

Nope. It's grammatically correct as pop is being used as a countable noun in this case. I believe it's referring to popping a value off of a stack and stacks have dimension so one can grammatically say that there were too many just as one could say that they took too many apples. Much would only be used if there was no previously established way of counting. As in: He ate too much food. No unit was specified so one has to use much instead of many.

Anyway, I hope you were being serious and I didn't just over analyze a joke. Wink

Oh, and to my knowledge we haven't seen a too many pops message in quite some time.

All grammar lessons aside, This is an issue and we are trying to solve it. I need someone( one of you) to work with. Someone who can reproduce the error every time, or very close to it. People have told me it is when they exit IN-A, SO-A or WO-A My first question is Are you on the Latest 09/21/07 with patches (i think.. 09/27/07) We have done quite a bit to fix the too many pops issues. If there is a user who is on the latest stuff still getting this message, Please let me know.

I thought Pops should be capitalized, since it is a brand name.

Sorry. Hope you didn't spend too much time figuring out the answer.

I thought maybe they had installed a new interface that could sense whether the user was too hyped on performance altering substances. Since I've really laid off the pop I thought that was the reason. Although, in retrospect, I should have realized that I'm NOT getting any "Too many coffee" messages...
