Add data field to RTM
01/18/08 at 10:54:24
I added the Category field from BKICMSTR to my traveler which worked. Now I would like to add the category description from IS.CATM.DESC to go along with the category code, but can't figure out how to make it work. Any ideas?

yes, you need to say pretty please, and then we need to open the file in WOC for it to work...

Pretty please!
Gee, your easy! That would have cost a couple of bottles of Johnny Walker with Behnom. BTW what ever happened to Behnom, (of ICS?)

Of course, giving programmers booze in exchange for programming is probably how DBA source code ended up looking like a ransacked birds nest. Ditto for the wide variety of bugs and limitations we've all come to know and love.
Keep the sauce away from the programmers!

Allen,
Do you know if this was done in the last update? I haven't installed yet because I'm not sure what the new enrtm's are all about. Are the new "en"rtm's only limited to the latest changes with the new notes? I don't see an en rtm for travelers in the RTM zip update.
Thanks,
Steve

I forgot... I just fixed it and sent it to Lynn. So yes you need the new 3/27 update, but unless you are using the Evo notes you don't need the EN RTMs. and yes there are ENWOC1,2,3,4 RTMs.
The EN RTMs are the same as the T6 RTMs except it has new sub reports that print the MEMO style Evo notes. So if you have custom T6WOC#.RTM and want to use the Evo Notes, then just open the ENWOC#.RTM and copy in your customs, or open your RTM and copy and past the new sub reports I added to the ENWOC#.RTM Just know that if evo notes is turned on, the RTM that the system looks for has to be called EN.....RTM

Allen,
Just out of curiosity, what new EN reports exist? After a while, I forget which RTM's we customized, so if I know which might be overridden by new EN RTM's when we turn on Evo Notes, I can check them out for any customization.
