I know the booking date when saving a SO was added in part to help with the Business Status report.  But the results are strange in other reports.  I do not understand how that booking date  is working in the booking report and the changes to sales orders report.  
 
I have two sales orders that line items were added to.  Both have SO dates that are not in this month- one in Nov 07 and one in March 08.  The person who entered them does not remember if he just entered through the booking date question(the date he entered the changes) or if he put the SO date.
 
The reports for both of these are interesting.  The booking report shows both SO's in the changes section as a negative of the whole sales order amount less the added line items.  In the changes report both the sales orders have the quantites and prices as well as the estimated ship dates zeroed out for each line item.
 
Can anyone help me interpret these reports?  My sales guy is very confused by the booking report and has asked me what it means.  I can't tell him at this point except to say "Ignore it!"
