removing obsolete items from inquiry screen
07/22/08 at 14:50:06

We have DBA Classic. Does anyone have a suggestion for cleaning up the inventory inquiry screen? We have obsolete items and I would like to code them or put them to a different warehouse location or change a default or something, so we don't have to wade thru them all the time. Looking for help!

Thanks,

Don't know what version of DBA Classic you are using, however, you will need to use the T6INA.RUN or T7INA.RWN version of that menu. using EVO gives you the ability to change to a newer version of that menu, which gives you a Grid lookup that can be filtered by the Active status of "O".

but since you are on DBA Classic, it uses the old BKINA.RUN which uses a fixed program logic and hence you are not able to "filter" out the obsolete items.

you could try haveing a custom program created for you if your company does'nt want to use EVO. i reccommend to start using EVO to take advantage of the newer interface capabilities.

hth.
