DBA allows for 9 bank accounts.  Currently all are being used.  We are closing 2 accounts and opening 2 new ones at different institutions.  If I use AD-B to change the name of a checking account with a new G/L number will I still be able to see the history of the closed account?  Will this have any effect on Customer payment histories?
Is there a better way to do this?

Not without a lot of programming...  The DBA file structures were created with 9 checking accounts, and 20 terms.. These are hard coded into the structures and the programs. Lynn and I have talked about changing it, but it has many ripples and will take time and resources that are better served elsewhere right now.
 
  All that to say, if you absolutely need more then 9 checking accounts, we can do it, and money talks..
