PO line missing
08/11/08 at 12:15:45

Hello All,

I have a problem wih one PO, the remaing quantity shows to be 72,500 units on PO# 12057. We need to set this quantity to zero. I entered the PO to adjust the line, but I couldnt find the line. So I went in into BKAPPOL, and viewed all the lines with this po num and our part number,,, and there it was.
The line showed received qty to be 7500 and original quantity to be 80,000 so I assumed this is where the 72500 is coming from (80K - 7.5K) I changed the 80K to 7,500 but still its showing on main screen as ordered quantity.. How can we fix this. I even tried deleting the whole record but nothing is changing.
When I print PO, I can see the line, but I cannot see it when I  open the PO to edit it!!!!
Any suggestions..  PLS help... it messing up our forcast

Check the BKICLOC record for that Part.

You might try running SM-J-C Master Level Reconciliation in report only mode just to see what comes up.

As a rule, I don't make changes in Maintain Database unless I fully understand the implications, which is rare.

Its not it, now I have another item on a different PO like this. It shows on the open PO thruough IN-A, prints on the PO, but cant see the line on the PO to edit it!! But we notitced that this line does show in receiving PO PO-C... any ideas why it doesnt dispaly.

We usually use those item for blanket items which are release upon request. When we need to release an item, we contact our vendor to send u the quantity needed, and we adjust the PO manually:
1- We add a line for that component with the correct quantiy and expected date
2- We adjust the remiaing quantity to reflect the correct amout.

This way our receiver can tell how much to accpet in receiving.. and we know how much is left on our blanket...
now we cant do that, because we cannot see the line when we edit the PO!!

any other suggestions?

Thanks,
