cycle codes (Read 332 times)

cathyh Active Member I used to be indecisive; now I'm not so sure...... Posts: 1210 Gender:	cycle codes 08/25/08 at 09:00:40 We are setting up to use cycle codes. The maximum number you can pick to freeze is 6, but can I assign up to 10 codes, 0-9? Actually 11 if you count blank. We want to count through-out the month on a weekly basis and need to exclude all but certain items for each count. Should we freeze each week? Does anyone else do this?

I was using several cycle codes at one time. I did monthly counts and numbered the months 1 through C (where ten is A, eleven is B and twelve is C) and I had another code of F for all finished goods so that I could freeze them separately. I stopped using the monthly codes, but the F is very helpful since the PI module will not freeze by item type.
