Cost Change - changes stk qty AVGC

Help Please
I preformed a global cost roll up of all finisged goods. On one particular part it not only put the standard cost on but it also increased my quantity on hand AVGC

I have noticed this happen sporadically - not all the time I make a price change but it does happen.

Anyone else have this happen - what is the cause or solution?
