File Name for Inventory Usage
10/08/08 at 09:33:14

I am trying to devise a report for items on hand, on purchase order, usage, primary vendor,.  I have BKIC.PROD.UOH and BKIC.PROD.UOO and MTIC.PROD.VNAM.  But I can not find the file name for usage.

I have a list of file names from 2007 with their fields, but the fields must have been updated since then.  Does anyone know where I can get an updated listing of the fields?

Those field names are fine. The bkic fields are in BKICMSTR and the mtic are in MTICMSTR. The Excel file with the field names is correct.

I am assuming that you have built the ODBC DDFs for the company in question, and that your are replacing the dot (.) with an underscore in the names of the fields (e.g. bkic_prod_uoh) when building your queries.

oh, I get it.  Roll Eyes

INVTXN has all inventory transactions... no wait, do you just want the summarized usage numbers for the past twelve months? Just use a group to summarize months. I don't think those numbers are stored anywhere.

Maybe I still don't get it.  Huh
