order payroll checks are printed

My time clock software prints time sheets in last name alpha order, and cannot change. EVO prints payroll checks in employee number order. Matching them up is a nuisance. Is there a setting I missed that will allow me to print PR checks in last name alpha order?

I have never seen an option to print them in another order and I have been using DBA payroll since 2003

This might be one for the "Payroll Improvements" post in Suggestions for Updates.  We have the same problem.  It would be nice to have a choice.
