Changing the "TYPE" of transaction within GL
11/12/08 at 10:28:10

We have used GL-K to move funds from one checking account to another, not realizing that the transaction type would be "OT" instead of "CR" or "CD" thus, creating an out of balance problem when using GL-J.  Is there a way I can change the type of those transactions from OT to CR or CD without having to reverse each entry then re-enter each transaction?  Thank you for your help!

The transaction is an OT because it CAN'T be CR or CD because what it is to one side, it is the opposite to the other.  That has nothing to do with GL-J (it is looking at the check register file, not the GL Transaction type).  You have something else going on if GL-J doesn't balance.  I use GL-K all the time and GL-J is fine with it.  Please provide more details.
