Training sessions yes - looking at Dallas and Orlando area as possibilities in early 2009; maybe Seattle.  Trying to hit areas we have not yet been to.  Nothing planned before mid to late February.  I have learned from experience that nobody makes plans for next year until "after the holidays" and by that time, it is too late to squeeze in anything in January.

As for Symposium, how about some feed back from you  - what could we do for a symposium that would entice you to spend a couple of days and attend (other than host it in Tahiti)?

- Launch spiffy new products
- Bring in vendors to demonstrate "accessories"
- Have a brainstorming session about future features we'd like to see
- Do a presentation about going to a paperless shop floor
- Hold a short class in how to Wiki
- Put together a guided tour of a local attraction
- Hold a workshop in editing RTMs
- Set up demo machines running Evo, DC, Evo2Web, Crystal Reports, etc. for people to try out
- Offer a short class in using MS Query to import PSQL data to Excel
- Offer a short class in using Pervasive SQL tools to edit table data
- Organize a working group to update the DBA File Name spreadsheet

OK, it won't be tomorrow in Tahiti.   It is looking like the week of Feb 16 (or possibly the following week but shooting for the week of the 16th) in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.  I am talking to the people at TMAC (Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center) in Ft. Worth about using their facility but other suggestions are welcome.  The 3 day agenda from the past couple of classes will be modified slightly and a fourth day added to cover more of the "behind the scenes" stuff such as editing Grids and Drill Downs and RTMs; new Inventory User Defined fields; more details on setting up Evo; email settings; Maintain Database; file structures and Locations; ODBC connections.

Lynn,

Not to be pushy by any means... but some of us will be traveling via covered wagon (or so it will seem).  We are 5 weeks away from your class date... any idea if it's going to happen??

So ready for a trip to D/FW. Or maybe I'll just move there and wait for the event to come to me!

or maybe someday we'll get back into double digit temps here in Maine and the despair will subside  undecided
