I used to use this command to connect ubuntu to wind2003
 
smbmount //umcserver/MSACCESS/INV/PlateConfigForms /data/webserver/umw/plates/tmp -o username=Administrator,password=password
 
Now I get error:  cli_negprot: SMB signing is mandatory and we have disabled it.
 
I read this somewhere: "You can disable SMB signing although it's not recommended for security reasons"

Is there another way to fix this problem? why it doesnt work any loger?
 
We are using samba 3.0.6
