It would be helpful to have a way to batch update a number of users with the same menu changes instead of having to do it one by one.  So if I have say, three users who need one menu item, I can do an update once to all three.

Unfortunately, that only works if all 3 users have the same permissions to begin with which I suspect is not the case.  Right now, the best you can do is add a menu group to either all or a single user.
