AM-F FORMAT CUSTOM STATEMENTS

I am trying to format a custom statement but I keep getting lost.   I can get each section to sum but not get the sums to add together.  Ie: Revenue sum + (COGS) =

If the revenue sum is Total 1, and COGS is Total 2, the total of 1+2=3, you need do an Add To (AT) total after each of the subtotals.  If I remember correctly, the first field is the subtotal (1 or 2) and the 2nd field is the Total (3).
If this is what you are doing, I am not sure what is the issue.
