Generally, it is a good idea to give the "Default" Evo menu just a few basic things like IN-A.
 
Creating new users is a matter of adding a new name and setting up their menu. You could do this by copying the Admin or other user and then removing or adding menu items until they have what is needed. When I started I created a few standard users like a salesperson, an engineer, a manager, a production worker, etc. and copied those profiles when adding more users.
 
One thing to watch is the multi-level menus. For instance, if adding the SM-J sub menu items, SM-J is level 1 and then the A, B, C items below it should be set to level 2.

I think Colin might be correct.  If every instance of you having "missing" data is with part numbers that have a space, that might be the culprit.  You could try using a dash instead of a space (we do that all the time).  You also might try using SM-J-L to change 390520-02  AL  to 390520-02AL and see if the data returns.  What do you think Colin?

It is actually a double space. Single space works, but double space is a problem
