IN-A shows quantity on SO...but there is no SO
08/10/09 at 11:54:39

Subject says it all.  Clicking the SO button in IN-A yields a blank grid (as it should be).  SO-O-A yields a blank report (not technically blank but there are no SO's for this particular item #).  This issue is popping up in more and more item #'s.  What can we do to fix this?

Are you using the Service & Repair or RMA module?  If you are and you have not set it up to be a Segregated Location, then those items will also be included inthe IN-A total.

The BKICLOC file has a field for units on sales order-  BKIC_LOC_UOSO.  You can use maintain database to see if there is an entry there and/or possibly correct it. Many of the fields in the IN-A screen are not calculated on the fly, but are entries in BKICLOC (inventory location file) and BKICMSTR (inventory master).  SM-J-C and also be run on the individual part number (run in report mode first), to put the files in order.  It's not all that uncommon to have these two files get out of sorts.

Thanks Vman.  SM-J-C (in report mode) reported changes to BKICLOC to make it match open orders.  I'll run it tonight when everyone leaves.
