IN-B Lost next/previous function after 5/25/09
08/27/09 at 05:23:42

Before the update, after saving an item, I could go to the next or previous item using the arrow buttons. Now after a save the program is at the beginning of the file and only brings up the first item. Then item number must be keyed in and entered to move to the next or previous record. Liked the old way much better.

We skipped the 5/25 update, but are probably going to install the next (Sep?) update.  This would really big a BIG pain as we use this functionality CONSTANTLY.

For some reason, I don't have this problem.  When I go into IN-B, do maintenance on a part and hit save, the part number field is blank.  I then click the forward or backward button and the next or previous part number appears in the screen.  How is this different than what you are experiencing?

I think Steve is a "keyboard guy" and wants the F7 and F8 keys to do what the buttons do so he doesn't have to reach for the mouse.

I want the option with the headset where I "think" what I want it to do and it happens. Cheesy

Definitely not. I am using the arrow buttons as I stated in the initial post. What I wasn't clear on is that we are using the T7 programs. My T7INB.rwn is dated 8/7/2009 5:19. I haven't gone backward to the T6 program to see if that is still working right.

I just checked the T6 program and it is fine. The T7 program in the classic and Evo view is the problem.

FYI
I am on version 05/25/09 and I went to Sys Mgr, UT-A, and keyed in T7INB.RWN (to make sure I was running the T7 version), maintained an item, saved, and clicked the forward and backward arrows and everything worked fine.

Yes, there have been patches since the last update, I think 4.

OK - I concur with Steve.  Just installed the 5/25 update, and the patch 4 files.  Left/right arrow keys no longer work.

www.istechsupport.com/dl/main7.zip contains tweaked versions of the GUI programs (newer than patch 4) - try that.  The buttons are working for me using that version.

Just got a copy of them from Dennis, installed them and they still don't work.
Don't know if this helps or not but....Open and item in IN-B, edit it, save it, the display clears (nothing in the item number field) - you hit the left arrow and nothing happens, you hit the right arrow and it goes to the very first item in the item list.

I give up....I tried what Mike did, maintained and saved a part number, clicked the left arrow 1,2,3,4 times and it correctly paged back through each part number and then I clicked the right arrow 1,2,3,4,5,6 times and again paged forward through each part number.  I am all out of ideas for now.
