Is it possible for this program to get stuck in a loop?  It seems to be just going through the WOBOM file over and over.  I'm just wondering if this is typical or if I should abort.  Thanks

Are you running this with people on the system? I tend to make sure when Finance runs ANY SM-J program they get everyone out of Evo.  It could be a file locking or other issue that's making it loop. Even if running in report only mode.

Also, have you ever purged your WO file?  If it's particularly large, it may take a while.

The initial screen does indeed indicate this is an extensive process and can take a long time to run.....

I'm the only one in the system.  When the program gets to "checking WOBOM" it loops through all the of work order numbers over and over.  Since there is no message, I can't tell if it has to run through them repeatedly or if there is a data problem.  I let it run for a couple of hours and it never gets past the WOBOM file.  I'm on classic DBA 2004.1 btw and I'm just using the report only mode.

I'd bounce out of it and call ISTech or email them directly about it.  You have a different version that what we are running.

Just out of curiosity, have you run the BOM Recursion Utility?
