Classic (or Evo) graphical scheduling
01/21/10 at 09:16:43

We have just started using scheduling. Are there any updates or enhancements for this? The graphical results are not what one would like to see in this day and age.

It would be very helpful to be able to see:
1) what jobs WO# and description are scheduled for each day
2) some sort of graphical timeline, sortable by WO#/description, workcenter, or entire shop.

Nothing yet and I agree, what is there is pretty sad.

The next update (due out within the next couple of days) will have a new tool in Evo for Work Center Activity/Backlog.  For a given work center, it will present a split screen.  On the top will be displayed the work orders actively being worked on in the work center (designed to be used in conjunction with Data Collection) and on the bottom are the work orders in the queue for that work center waiting to be started.  It is a real-time program that can be set to autorefresh every 30 (or however many) seconds.
