Can't change items to Obsolete (Read 688 times)

Can't change items to Obsolete

I get a message that it is a component on a WO but there are no open WO with this part number as a component or parent.  Am I blocked even if all WOs with this part number are closed?

Delete it from any bill of material. That should do it.

Even if the WO is closed, if it is on the WO BOM of a WO in the Open WO file, it prevents changing status.  Archive the old Work Orders (you should do that anyway)
