Printing inventory labels
05/21/10 at 11:54:05

We want to start printing one-up labels for bins, bags, shelves, etc. Is anyone using the HH-B Print Labels program or IN-G Print Inventory Labels programs with a one-up label printer? Can you recommend a printer and labels?

I happen to have a spare Zebra LP 2844 and was thinking of trying some labels in it, but which? Can't find 3 1/2" by 15/16" size on a zebra roll.

I set my customers up with Zebra printers and Dymo printers for the size of labels.
I've always used the Zebra LP 2844 for printing the 4" plus labels..
and for inventory part number shelf labels, i use the Dymo Twin Turbo, and use the 30321 address labels.

i have Crystal reports setup to print the info necessary.

i'm sure you've contacted a Zebra reseller on the labels, they might have something in stock for the LP http://www.abrfid.com/.

Thanks for the info. I was trying to get started on the cheap using this spare printer, so I found some 2x1 labels somewhere and ordered a couple of rolls to try out. I'm sure that once I get the boat moving that everyone will get on board. Then I'll ask them to spring for a Dymo to do the bin labels.
