CR 7.0 On a new Novell Server
06/18/10 at 12:10:37

I have installed Novel 6.5 to a new server.  Installed Seagate CR 7.0 to the new server. Same with PSQL 9.5.
DBA works fine.
I can open and edit CR .rpt files ok. When I refresh the data, I get a "Print Engine Error - Invalid file name", followed by "Database error - NOT A Btrieve File".  undecided  I do not even know where to begin to look for a solution.  Any suggestions?

need to verify the data location of the report you are opening, as well as the dictionary. there is a function within crystal reports to do both.

If your report doesn't connect to Evo's database via ODBC, I'd try it that before tracking this error down.

If it does use ODBC, I'd have to see the report...

If you need help setting up the ODBC just let me know.

Has a view to the database in PSQL been created? Has a server system DSN been set up on the new server for ODBC to connect to? If you go into the ODBC data source admin panel on the client and click the "test" button in the ODBC client interface do you get "Connection Successful"?
