DC-A entering scrap codes?
06/30/10 at 14:40:08

We are trying to use bar coding with DC-A, however we cannot figure out how to enter scrap codes when we enter scrap.  Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?  Currently we manually enter labor in WO-F and use the scrap codes.  How do we do this with bar coding?

bar coding is just replacing the key entry portion. evaluate what you really save in time and efficiency by having to bar code a scrap code.

You misunderstood the question.  She wants to use DC and bar codes to enter labor but up until recently, the DC module allowed entering a scrap quantity but not a scrap code.   We have modified the DC programs (based on a default setting and thanks to Julie's willingness to pay for the programming time) to allow entering scrap codes.
