Wrong dates in WO Transactions
08/30/10 at 14:02:54

Walter was working in WO Friday morning and at some point his system time changed from 8/27/2010 to 3/15/2011 (looks like he got a funky time from time.windows.com). Anyway, now there are about 250 transactions sitting in Evo that won't be transacted because of the forward date.  How does Nancy fix this issue in Evo?  Is there perhaps a way to do a global date replace to switch those 2011 dates back to the correct date of 8/27/2010?

You can use UT-K-B but you need to update a number of different files - BKGLTEMP (unposted GL), INVTXN and WOMAT and/or WORECV depending whether he was issuing materials (WOMAT) or Entering Finished Production (WORECV).  Was he doing anything else?  There may be other files involved as well.

250 Transactions?? Ouchhhh!!!!!

GL Journal Entries (Unposted)
UPDATE BKGLTEMP SET BKGL_TRN_DATE = '2010-08-27' WHERE BKGL_TRN_DATE = '2011-03-15'

Inventory Transactions
UPDATE INVTXN SET MTIT_DATE = '2010-08-27' WHERE MTIT_DATE = '2011-03-15'

These two scripts will give you an idea how to modify the other tables.

Thanks Lynn and Kelloggs,

I was able to fix all the transactions for Nancy using the global field replace!
