Crystal reports 5.0 on WIN 7 (Read 2137 times)

deburr Senior Member Posts: 487 Gender:	Crystal reports 5.0 on WIN 7 09/30/10 at 05:14:11 Does anybody know if it is possible to make version 5 run on windows 7? And how? I've looked at buying a newer version of crystal and ran a trial but was unhappy and could not get that to run. I run version 5. on all my XP machines and it does all I need so I want to stay with the old program.

dameng Senior Member DBA / EVO Software Consultant Posts: 275 Gender:	Re: Crystal reports 5.0 on WIN 7 Reply #1 - 11/24/10 at 16:28:29 i've used version 5 from smithware, then when seagate bought, upgraded, and basically stayed with every new version since then. the 2008 works great and lasts a long time, on windows 7. version 5 was frought with many bugs. personally i'd recommend upgrading. more features, reliability, etc.
