Seperating BOM for each Sequence on WO
06/07/11 at 06:11:57

Question:

We are interested in putting specific parts in different sequences on a Work Order. For instance, we want part # 112356, 114567, 118970 to be used in Fitting and Welding (Seq. 402) and then 113456, 117865, 119876 to be used in Assembly (Seq. 999). We would like to put those part#'s under the Sequence# on the Traveler's List. Does anyone know how we can do that?

We currently just apply an entire BOM and do not separate the parts.

BM-A allows routing sequences to be assigned to BOM components.  This can be used for traveler printing (printing the component int he sequence where it is needed), backflushing as labor is entered, and MRP (need date based on sequence start date rather than work order start date.)
