Triggers
07/15/11 at 08:27:57

Data entry of trigger is tedious

when entering triggers, if you need to put in a WO number, you cannot type it in

you are forced to do a look up each time

because you cannot move from prefix to suffix without getting an error

not to mention that you can't use the keyboard for entering, since the tab order never stops on the Save button, and F10 does not save

and if your WO number is -19 then you have to scroll down the look up list 18 places

about as much fun as conjugating "tedium"

More triggers:

How about an EFP setting for "all child WOs"? It is tedious adding two dozen WOs... a WO range might work, too.

If a trigger is set to run once shouldn't it just delete itself? Or perhaps, in addition to a dismiss button, we could have a Delete button?

The first part was fixed awhile ago, like 2 or 3 days after you posted it.. but I like the second part I will see what I can do. WO range....

As for the run once, I was originally going to delete it once it fired, but I decided to leave it in, with the date it ran, so you can see when it fired, maybe I will add an option to the triggers file to leave it once fired or delete it. then you can decide.
