Two Evo's??
12/20/11 at 14:12:24

Can I install an extra copy of evo on my server right?

I have one on F:\DBAMFG\
I would like to have another one (for testing purposes only) on F:\DBATEST\
and then change my taspro7.ini to

[Setup]
DataDictPath=F:\DBATEST\
DfltCompanyCode=
DfltRunPrg=F:\DBATEST\EvoERPmenu.rwn
MultiUser=1
MainMenu=1
FullSetup=1
DefaultPath=F:\DBATEST\
Titlebar=Evo ~ ERP

can I have two ISTS Folders?

You can copy ISTS to ISTS1 and change the TASPRO7.INI in ISTS1 to point to DBATEST and then create an icon pointing to
C:\ISTS1\EVOERP.EXE C:\ISTS1\

However, keep in mind that configuration settings that are saved (Save personal settings, email address, etc.) are always stored in ISTS regardless which icon is used to load.

thanks Lynn,
It worked very well,

The only thing I didn't do before installing the update was to make a copy of the ISTS folder.

Now I can test Evo's updates
