Email setup in EVO
02/23/12 at 08:54:06

Hi.  We just bought EVO and I'm trying to set up the email function.  I used the SMTP setup we have been using for Outlook and I get the error that the SMTP or port is not correct.  It is entered identically.  Any suggestions??  We use a local web host service for our email.  Have entered the info in both UT-E & US-A.  There is nothing different from our Outlook setup.

Does anyone have any advice on getting the EMAIL to work in EVO?  I have all of the settings entered exactly as they have been used in MS Outlook.  Outlook works, EVO gives me the message that the SMTP is not set up or has the wrong port.

Please???

Hmmm.  The firewall.  I hadn't thought of that.  I have EVOerp and TP7runtime in the exceptions.  What program or file name would I be looking for?
