We generally print two "Packing Slips" - one that we title a Pick List and use it internally to get the order together, and then we print a Packing List to send with the order.
 
With Classic you could print Hidden Notes by checking off the option on the Print PL (or Inv, etc) opening screen. While the Evo Notes are much more powerful than Classic, it seems that the only way to print or not print Hidden Notes (either Classic or New) is to Check/Uncheck the appropriate box and then add or remove the Note Style every time you print. This is not only a lengthy process, but an entire waste of time unless you happen to know that that SO, Customer, Items, SO Lines or Ship To has notes that you may or may not want printed on that document...
 
Maybe I just haven't figured it out right yet, but it seems that adding Hidden Notes should still not print them unless "Print Hidden Notes" was checked.
