For DBA Classic: In AR-A (Enter Customers) there is a line called "Discount Code" that lets you enter a certain discount rate for that particular customer. However, I do not see a "Discount Code" line in CM-A (Enter Contact Accounts). The problem is that Sales Quotations (SO-P-A) force you to pick from your Contact Accounts list, not your Customer list. Therefore, when someone is making a Sales Quotation, the discount rate for that customer does not show up. Yet when that quote is converted to a Sales Order, SO-A uses the Customer list which *does* have the discount code and the Sales Order ends up having a different price than the original quote. I realize it's possible to manually enter a Discount Code to a Sales Quotation, but that would require the salespeople to remember which code is used for which customer, which isn't practical. Is there a way to set a Discount Code to a Contact Account? Or perhaps just an easier way of going about it in general?
