Inventory Exceptions Report
06/27/12 at 14:42:59

On the exceptions report we have several part numbers that have a "negative" on-hand and it is not with a work-order posting.  EVO shows a positive or zero "on-hand" balance than the report.   Any suggestions of what could cause this and where else can I look further into data?

I have a pdf of the one page report - unable to attach to this forum.

The first thing I always do, is run a transaction report to see what inventory transactions have taken place.  If a part was on a sales order and was invoiced prior to being in inventory, whether by completing a work order or receiving a purchased part, it would cause a negative.  Timing is often the problem.

Did you run it for all or a single location?  A single location can be negative without UOH showing negative.
