Connecting to ISNUMBER and other related files

Does anyone know if it is possible to use ODBC to connect to the ISXXXXXX.B files? I have not had any luck with this so far. I am interested in obtaining the last Invoice number, Sales order number, etc from the ISNUMBER.B file but the error is:

"ODBC – call failed. (Error 3146)

Using an ODBC connection, you tried to perform an operation on data in an ODBC data source. This error may occur when the ODBC data source is on a network drive and you are not connected to the network. Make sure the network is available, and then try the operation again."

I have tried ODBCDFF.RUN but that did not seem to work. Should I be able to connect to this file using ODBC with no issue?

Does it happen on all computers? what OS are you using? NT, XP, 7? Where is your Pervasive Server located? 2003, 2008? Kelloggs

I am going to try a few more things now that I know I should be able to connect to this file. Thanks for the uplifting news!
