Indirect WO labor reporting for salary employees
10/09/12 at 11:23:24

What is the best (easiest) way to record labor for salary employees on indirect work orders and get hourly/minutes rates for them. In testing this currently, the job cost reports show complete salary for an hour.
Asking because: we are a custom design house and to track project costs currently, we have to log information into three different systems for reporting. We would like to record this in EVO and elimitate the other two systems.

We don't use EVO Payroll.
So we enter all our Eng personal as Hourly Employees.

Pay Type [H/S/C]

(If you use payroll, just create another Employee  Tongue )

No need to create another employee.  Just set up the salary employees in payroll as hourly with the rate equal to the week salary divided by 40 and always pay for a 40 hour week.  I recommend that anyways because it makes holiday, sick and vacation pay easier to deal with.
