Change Customer Code of a Shipping Address
02/11/13 at 10:29:46

We have some old customer records in BKARCUST that were only used as shipping addresses.
There were no financial transactions posted against them.  No orders were entered with them
as the 'sold to' either.

I would like to change some of these Customer Codes to conform to our current method of assigning
Codes.

Can I get by with just changing the Customer Code in BKARCUST, BKARINV, BKARHINV AND ISARAINV?

I know there is a function to change customer codes, but everyone has to be out of the system.
Since there haven't been any transactions posted against these Shipping Address type records, SM-J-M
will be looking through many files that the original customer code will not show up in.

You do not have to have everybody out of the system to use the Change Customer Code program.  You should use it to make sure you catch all the files.  Although off the top of my head since they were only shipping addresses you probably have identified the ones you need.
