I suggested filters, and he says he's using some, but I have not seen for myself.
I can't think of why there would be any reason why some processes for Evo would be so much slower on a Windows 7 64-bit system? Cany anyone think of any particular setting, either on the computer or maybe in Pervasive, that would need to be tweaked, for example? The problems we have are all around things that use the tp7runtime.exe program. They just seem to really drag on a 64-bit Windows 7 system. Run the identical processes in Evo on an XP system and there are no problems. There has to be *something* that must be inherently different in how this program runs on the different OSes. I just can not think of what it could be.
I have tried everything, including bumping up the tramsit and receive #s for the network card. It's just baffling and creating some
very grumpy users. I have our production manager running two systems (one Win7, one XP) just so he can get things done in a timely manner with re-order reports. It's crazy!
Kind regards,
