Packing Slips

Our packing slips are printing line 2 in the description instead of all lines like the quotation and acknowledgement.  Is there a setting that I can change this?

There is no setting that I am aware of. Sounds like someone has modified the stock RTM.

Here's what I would do. Go into \DBAMFG\RTX and find the form you're using (probably ??SOC4 *) but it will have an RTX extension. Copy that to \DBAMFG and then rename it ??SOC4D.RTM (use D for Default DBA)

Print a Packing Slip, and when prompted for the Form Name, add the "D". This will give you a complete and unabridged current version of the stock PL.

Assuming it comes out right, you have a few choices:
  • If it's acceptable as is, delete the original ??SOC4.RTM and rename the new one (take the "D" out).
  • Assuming you know how to edit RTMs, go into the original one and make it right.
  • If you aren't familiar with editing RTMs, make sure you have a good backup of the original one, then look at the stock one and compare it to the original and start playing around until you get it right. One important note: when modifying RTMs you must be on the Main Tab every time you save it.

If it's still kafluey I have no idea...

*could start with BK, T6 or EN depending what your setup is.
