Windows 7 and Pervasive version
04/01/13 at 11:11:50

I tried to install DBA Classic on a Windows 7 (64 bit) laptop.  My Pervasive is Version 8.  It said that the installation was successful, but when I tried to start DBA the icon just flashed on the screen and closed down.

It appears from posts on the Forum that I would need to upgrade to Pervasive Version 11 for this to work.  Can someone confirm this please?

Thanks

I had varied success running 2000i (came between 7 and 8) on Win7. No problems since upgrading to PSQL 11 on Win7 or Win8.

I have had some users able to jump through hoops and disable various security settings to get the older Pervasive to load on the new Windows OS but it is not recommended or supported.  PSQL 11.3 is the supported version for Windows 7 & 8 (& XP if you have some older workstations) and the newer server (not older than 2003)
